In order to receive the Montgomery KOSS Award, a child must:

• Be between the ages of 8-10.
• Have no disciplinary violation of the following:
  • Does not bring weapons to school.
  • Has had no disciplinary action at school or in the community.
  • Does not use drugs of any kind.
• Be a good role model for others at school and at home.
• Is respectful of others both at school and at home.
• Show leadership skills.
  • Volunteers when asked to.
  • Volunteers without being asked to.
• Read one book a month outside of school

Each child will be awarded a train ride, a trophy, and a Montgomery KOSS T-shirt.
